The explosion of traditional sweet shops offering all sorts of delicious confectionery by the quarter has meant our superb Confectionery of Delights Sweet Shop has now taken over our Old Penny Arcade for hire enquiries and bookings and it's no wonder why! I'm sure you'll agree, it looks just wonderful with our signature fairground artwork, 1940's weighing scales, rows of Jar candy and perhaps even counter treats, along with our beautiful 1920's cash register (Yes, it still rings when a sale is made!) and finishing with music that transports you to an era where everything seemed much sweeter somehow!

CONFECTIONERY OF DELIGHTS SWEET SHOP
Step into a world of confectionery nostalgia when you hire of Confectionery of Delights Traditional Sweet Shop. Our charming miniature store feels like a step back in time, adorned with hand-painted fairground art and vintage-style signage that captures the spirit of a gentler, bygone era; times when nipping to the corner shop included picking up a quarter of your favourite sweets to devour on the walk home. So much more immersive than a standalone Candy Cart, our Shop lovingly lends itself to many occasions, from birthdays, weddings, private and corporate functions, to educational days and even residential home special occasions, where asking for a quarter of liquorice, really brings childhood memories flooding back to the happy recipients.
Standard Hire includes a choice from 30 Jars of our most popular candies, with counter service, whereby a member of our staff will weight out and serve into a striped paper bag, your quarter of Jar sweets.
Deluxe Hire includes as Standard Hire, along with a Counter Display offering 10 of our most popular retro packaged sweets.

Standard Hire Cost From: £495.00
Deluxe Hire Cost From: £595.00
Set up: Must be ground floor installed with no obstacle's to overcome with strict trailer build up and pull down at set up site itself. Has an operating area of 11ft x 14ft x 11ft. Set up takes approx. 2½ hours to erect and 2 hours to pull down.
Electric required: Yes, to power lights and music system. A generator can be hired at an additional cost.
Indoor/Outdoor use: This attraction can be used both indoors and outdoors. You will need to consider attraction size and any installation restrictions for indoor use.

How many Sweets will I receive? Standard Hire includes 30 x 1Kg of Jar Sweets.
Deluxe Hire includes 30 x 1Kg of Jar Sweets and 10 x 12 Packet Counter Sweets
Is this Package Manned?: Our Standard Hire comes with 1 member of staff.
Deluxe Hire comes manned with 2 members of staff.
Will I receive a HSG 175 Certificate?: No, our Sweet Shop does not require a HSG 175 Certificate (see ADIPS for more information).
How will my guests 'pay' for their sweets? For a more immersive experience, we provide our hirers with 100 x Old Penny Tokens (Standard Hire) and 150 x Old Penny Tokens (Deluxe Hire), enabling the hirer to distribute these amongst their guests. When an Old Penny Token is presented to us at the sweet shop, each Token can be exchanged for a quarter of the guests favourite sweets or in the case of Deluxe Hire, a Quarter of Jar Sweets or one Packet of Sweets from our counter display.
Do you offer sweets which are Sugar Free, Vegan or Halal? Due to stock availability we are unable to offer a whole sweet shop dedicated to Sugar Free, Vegan or Halal Sweets, however we have marked out all dietary pointers on our CANDY CHOICES page.
Can we use our own sweets and just hire your sweet shop without stock: No.
