OLD PENNY ARMUSEMENTS ARCADE HIRE 

Step back in time with our charming Old Penny Amusements Arcade, a beautifully restored attraction set upon a vintage hand cart. Featuring eight fully working machines, each operated using traditional old 1D British coins, it offers a wonderfully nostalgic, hands-on experience for guests of all ages. For your hire charge you’ll receive up to 100 tubs of 10 Old 1D Pennies, giving you complete flexibility in how the arcade is enjoyed. Many clients choose to offer it as a free-to-play attraction, creating a truly inclusive experience, while others use it as a fun and engaging way to recoup some of their outlay during their event. Perfect for private events, public gatherings, museum displays, and social history experiences, the Old Penny Arcade is a unique, interactive centrepiece that brings history to life and creates lasting memories.

OLD PENNY AMUSEMENTS ARCADE HIRE DETAILS:

Set up: Must be built up on even ground. Has an operating area of 8ft x 7ft x 7ft. Set up takes approx. ½ hour to erect and 20 minutes to pull down.

Electric required: Yes, to run the Machines and illuminate Cart. A generator can be hired from us for an additional cost. We can run the arcade purely with mechanical machines and no illumination - if that's what you'd like, let us know in your enquiry email.

Indoor/Outdoor use: This attraction can be used ground floor, indoors and outdoors. You will need to consider attraction size and any installation restrictions for indoor use.

Is the Penny Arcade Manned?: Yes, by 1 member of staff.​

Do we hold a HSG 175 Certificate?: No, our Old Penny Arcade does not require a HSG 175 Certificate (see ADIPS for more information).

Can we return our old penny tokens for cash back?: No, our Penny Arcade is designed as a nostalgic experience rather than for gambling. Penny Tokens are not redeemable or refundable.

MADAM ZELDA FORTUNE TELLER MACHINE HIRE 

This bespoke 'Madam Zelda' fortune teller machine has been expertly crafted to capture the authentic look and charm of classic vintage arcade fortune tellers. Finished in rich, period-style colours with ornate lettering and theatrical curtains, it features a mystical gypsy figure seated behind tarot cards and a glowing crystal ball. Activated by an 1D Old Penny Token, the machine comes to life as Madam Zelda’s hands gently move, the crystal ball illuminates, and a printed fortune card is dispensed. Designed with careful attention to traditional mechanisms and visual detail, it convincingly recreates the magic of original fairground and seaside machines. As a unique, one-of-a-kind piece, it offers both reliability and strong visual impact. Ideal for film and television, museum open days, or themed events, it provides an atmospheric and interactive prop full of vintage character and mystery.

Set up: Must be built up on even ground. Has an operating area of 5ft x 2ft x 2ft. Set up takes approx. ½ hour to erect and 20 minutes to pull down.

Electric required: Yes, to run the Fortune Teller and illuminate. A generator can be hired from us for an additional cost.

Indoor/Outdoor use: This attraction can be used ground floor, (unless a goods elevator is in operation), indoors and outdoors. You will need to consider attraction size and any installation restrictions for indoor use.

Attraction approx. sizes: (h): 5ft x (w): 2ft x (d): 2ft.

Is this Package Manned?: Comes unmanned as standard, however for an additional charge we can provide one member of staff to man it.

Do we hold a HSG 175 Certificate?: No, our Fortune Teller does not require a HSG 175 Certificate (see ADIPS for more information).

VINTAGE PELHAM PUPPET SHOW MACHINE HIRE 

This charming vintage British seaside slot machine dates from the 1970s, when coin-operated amusements were a highlight of Pier entertainment. Its frontage features a vibrant Circus scene populated with genuine Pelham marionettes, including a Clown Ringmaster and lively dancing characters. The brightly painted red and yellow cabinet and whimsical detailing, capture the spirit of traditional seaside fun, beautifully evoking a nostalgic, family-friendly atmosphere. Activated by an 1D Old Penny Token. A striking and characterful piece; ideal as a period prop for any media, film or television productions, or a variety of private/public events.

PELHAM PUPPET SHOW HIRE DETAILS:~ 

Set up: Must be driven on casters and situated on even ground. Has an operating area of 5ft x 3ft x 3ft. Set up takes approx. ½ hour to erect and 20 minutes to dismantle.

Electric required: Yes, to run the Puppet Show and illuminate. A generator can be hired from us for an additional cost.

Indoor/Outdoor use: This attraction can be used ground floor (unless a goods elevator is in operation), indoors and outdoors. You will need to consider attraction size and any installation restrictions for indoor use.
